Perfected by Grace

Looking Beyond Mistakes 
God's perfect plan is way beyond my mistakes because His plan was created for me even when He knew my sins and mistakes. Just how He had a plan for humanity before Adam and Eve disobeyed. Can I trust that God is still for me and with me and still will work everything out for good no matter what my mistakes are? He created me from the dust and always continues to bring me forth from glory to glory despite my mistakes. I just want to trust Him and see things from a perspective of His plans to prosper me. Disappointments aren't the end of the world. God continues to work in my life and help me to move forward in His perfect plan. 

Slow Down to Enjoy the Journey with God
I want to enjoy this healing journey with God, even when things aren't going my way and there are "disappointments." I want to embrace the way God is walking me through this in all its perfection because He knows best what I need. 

Letting God Perfect You
Being confident in the grace of God is trusting God to perfect us rather than trying to be a perfectionist. Perfectionism is of the flesh and comes from wanting to be self-righteous. Our own efforts to be righteous apart from God's grace are not just in vain, but they are unclean and unacceptable. 

Isaiah 64:6 KJV
[6] But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Closing Prayer:
Father God, I know that if I have any good in me it's because You put it there. Please help me let go of perfectionism and help me to depend on You and Your grace to transform and perfect me in all my ways in Jesus name I pray Amen.

Freedom to Choose

My mom had a rigidity about her. She made it seem punishable to even dream of marrying the one I love. She never mentioned marriage. To her it was about the culture and its ways. But I had something different in mind. I embraced the freedom of marrying a man of God as a little girl. The freedom of marrying someone according to God's will and being happy about it. I knew she was aware of my deepest most desire of pursuing this dream of marriage as a young girl but deeemed it as rebellious, shameful, and illogical. But God still made a way for me to secretly and openly rebel against a cultural that idolized arranged marriages.
